Beliefs & Commitments
Last updated: September 11, 2026
GodSounds, Inc. is a Christian company. This page sets out what we believe and how those beliefs shape the work we take on. Our client agreements point here so that every author, ministry, and church we work with knows, before signing, exactly what kind of studio they are hiring.
What we believe
- God is One, consisting of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- The Bible is the Word of God, inspired by Him and written by holy men under the direct guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is our authority, not one opinion among many.
- Jesus Christ is God. He is and will always be the Messiah, the Son of God, and the Savior of the World.
- We hold to historic, orthodox Christian teaching, as the Church has confessed it across the centuries.
- God created human beings in His own image, male and female.
- Marriage is the lifelong union of one man and one woman, as God designed it.
How we hold these
Plainly, and without hostility. None of the above is aimed at any person, and none of it is a judgement of anyone's worth. Every human being is made in the image of God and loved by Him, and we try to treat everyone we work with that way, whether or not they share what we believe.
We are not neutral about these convictions either. They are the ground GodSounds stands on, and they are what we are able to produce with real conviction rather than at arm's length. Saying so here is not an argument with anyone. It is so that an author knows who they are hiring before they sign, instead of finding out partway through a production.
Our mission
To bring glory and honor to Jesus Christ through our various services and products.
Our commitments
Those convictions are not decoration. They decide what we produce and what we decline, and we would rather say so plainly here than surprise anyone later.
The work we take on
GodSounds produces audiobooks, music, video, and written content for authors, ministries, and churches whose work is consistent with the convictions stated above. That is the standard every project is measured against — not a denomination, not a style of worship, and not a position on the many questions Christians have discussed in good faith for centuries. Our clients come from a wide range of traditions, and we are glad they do.
What we decline
We respectfully decline projects whose content conflicts with those convictions — material that contradicts them, or that presents them as one spiritual option among several. A decline is not a verdict on you or on your book. It means the project is not a fit for a studio built on this foundation, and you remain free to take it to a producer who is a better match for it.
When we are unsure
If we are uncertain whether a manuscript fits, we will raise it early, before you have spent money or time. If we are still in doubt after that conversation, we will pass. We would rather be honest at the beginning than partway through your production.
Final say
GodSounds decides which projects it takes on. We reserve the right to decline a project, or to discontinue one already underway, where its content conflicts with the beliefs and commitments on this page. If production has already begun, we will handle the wind-down fairly and in keeping with your production agreement.
Questions
If you are not sure whether your title fits, ask before you sign. We would much rather answer the question early than late.
